Hammered Tears: Sunstone

These Sunstone earrings have glittering gold magic in them - a shimmering effect caused by light reflecting off inclusions of copper!

Commonly found in Norway & Sweden, Sunstone can also be found in Lake + Harney counties in Oregon, where it formed in lava flows millions of years ago. According to Native American legend, after an arrow wounded a great warrior, his blood dropped into pieces of Oregon Sunstone. It is said that his passionate spirit is carried in these sparkling stones, giving them sacred power.
