Collection: Los Angeles Wildfires Fundraiser

UPDATE: $3,815 DONATED in first 12 days of fundraiser! (more info below)

Los Angeles is the birthplace of A Stone's Throw and where owner Kimberly Stafford called home for 15 years. The enormity of the loss there is impossible to comprehend - entire neighborhoods, small businesses, beautiful natural spaces, and cultural & historic landmarks have been obliterated... Our hearts break for the City of Angels.

100% of the proceeds from our Los Angeles Wildfires Collection will be donated to two Los Angeles non-profits that serve marginalized communities affected by the fires. Our focus at this time is on two areas:

  1. Immigrant day laborers and undocumented workers are an integral part of day-to-day life in Los Angeles. Many no longer have jobs to return to and lack access to resources and safety nets. National Day Laborers Organizing Network (NDLON) is supporting these community members who often fall between the cracks.
  2. Having access to food during crisis is vital, whether you're a first responder or a family taking refuge in a hotel. World Central Kitchen is on the ground providing warm, free meals to those impacted by the wildfires.

10% of all other online sales, outside of this collection, will also be donated to wildfire relief.

UPDATE CONTINUED: On Friday, Jan 17th, we donated $737 to NDLON, $603 to WCK, and sent the $500 we received directly from an Angel donor to the ARC Firefighter Fund (Anti Recidivism Coalition). Less than a week later you helped us send ANOTHER $1,925 to non-profits: $1,500 to WCK (with the help of a $750 Angel donor match) and $475 to NDLON. THANK YOU!
